Kaona Room is a modern-day speakeasy with a twist — a "speaky-tiki" — that blends traditional Polynesian elements with seductive details and jazz club vibes. Tucked behind a discreet entrance inside The Leinster Irish Pub in Miami's Arts & Entertainment District (Edgewater), it is designed to feel like a two-hour vacation to paradise. The space is intimate and private, seating only up to 45 guests at a time, with bamboo textures, hand-carved tiki masks, warm amber lighting, and dry-ice haze. At its heart is an obsession with rum: over 50 expressions sourced from distilleries across the Caribbean, Central America, and beyond.
